Terms & Conditions / Policies

These Terms & Conditions and Policies explain how Joboora works, what we expect of candidates and employers, and how we handle information on the platform. Please read them carefully before creating an account or using Joboora services.

Last updated:

1. Introduction

Joboora is a recruitment marketplace that connects candidates, employers, and administrators. These terms apply to our websites, applications, and related services (together, the “Platform”).

This page is a structured working draft. Individual sections are intended to be replaced with counsel-approved language without changing the page layout.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Joboora, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the policies described here. If you do not agree, you should not create an account or continue using the Platform.

If you use Joboora on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. User Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login credentials confidential, and promptly updating details that change.

You must be legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. Employers must only create accounts for genuine hiring organisations they are authorised to represent.

Joboora may require email verification or additional identity or company checks before certain actions, such as posting jobs or contacting candidates, are available.

4. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates must present themselves honestly. Profile details, work history, education, skills, video introductions, and uploaded documents should be accurate and not misleading.

You may only apply to roles for which you are genuinely interested and eligible. Do not submit another person’s information, impersonate anyone, or upload content you do not have the right to share.

You are responsible for reviewing job descriptions, application destinations (including external employer websites), and any communications you receive through Joboora.

5. Employer Responsibilities

Employers must use Joboora only for legitimate recruitment. Company profiles, job posts, and communications with candidates should be truthful and professional.

You must comply with applicable employment, equal opportunity, data protection, and workplace laws in every market where you hire.

If you post an external application URL, you remain responsible for that destination, including its privacy practices and the candidate’s application experience after they leave Joboora.

6. Job Posting Guidelines

Job posts must describe a real vacancy or hiring need. Do not use Joboora to advertise unrelated products, collect data under false pretences, or post discriminatory requirements.

Compensation, location, work mode, and application method should be stated clearly where those details are collected by the Platform.

Joboora may refuse, unpublish, or remove listings that violate these guidelines or that appear fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Platform. Prohibited conduct includes attempting to access accounts or systems without authorisation, scraping data except as allowed by published APIs and these terms, introducing malware, or harassing other users.

You may not use Joboora to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringing.

We may monitor use of the Platform to protect users, enforce these terms, and maintain security and availability.

8. Privacy and Data Handling

Joboora processes personal data to operate recruitment features such as profiles, applications, matching, communications, and account security.

Candidates and employers should only share information they are entitled to provide. Employers must handle candidate data solely for recruitment purposes and in line with applicable privacy law.

A full privacy notice will replace this section when final legal copy is available. Until then, treat this as a high-level description of how Joboora intends to handle data on the Platform.

9. Intellectual Property

Joboora, including its name, logos, software, and original content, remains the property of Joboora and its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Platform as intended.

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as CVs, company branding, and job descriptions. You grant Joboora a licence to host, display, and process that content as needed to provide the service.

You must not copy, reverse engineer, or reuse Joboora materials except as permitted by law or a written agreement with us.

11. Limitation of Liability

Joboora is a marketplace. We do not guarantee that a candidate will be hired or that an employer will fill a role. Hiring decisions remain between the parties involved.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joboora is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform, including lost opportunity, lost profits, or data issues beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in this working draft is intended to exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Account Suspension or Termination

You may stop using Joboora at any time, subject to any outstanding employer commitments or legal retention requirements.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, if required by law, or to protect users or the integrity of the Platform.

After termination, we may retain certain records as required for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

13. Changes to Terms and Policies

We may update these Terms & Conditions and Policies from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page will change when a new version takes effect.

Material changes may be communicated through the Platform or by email where we have a working address for your account. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, except where local law requires additional consent.

14. Contact Information

Questions about these Terms & Conditions and Policies can be sent through the Joboora Contact Us page or to the support email published in portal settings.
